As we cultivate ourselves, focus attention upon the expansion of our awareness and compassion, we begin to create the higher vision of ourselves and through intention to live up to this. Through Spiritual Practices we are able to transform our thinking and consequently our hearts which opens the flow of the divine into our lives and unlimited grace/blessings flow.
"To excuse a wrong or wrongdoer." This is an ongoing process. We cannot expect the ego to go along with it easily, yet as we let go of the crushing victimhood that anger and lack of forgiveness creates, we let go and let God which heals us and sets us free.
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
And "Forgive them 7 times 7." Wow, that is a huge step.
The first quote seems to echo up through the centuries. We look to Jesus, as well as other great mystical teachers, for guidance. In this passage, Yeshua shows us that we can call upon a higher power to do the forgiveness for us. This is the way of freedom. No need to waste any mental or emotional energy, just simply allow the higher power of our Love and Wholeness (Spirit) to do it through and for us. This is called "Letting go and letting God." The second quote then states that when we forget to turn it over to God, when we forget to forgive, we need to do it deeper within, over and over, deeper and deeper. We talk about and support this important practice.
"I call upon the Universal Godhead within me to forgive the person whom I at the moment do not seem to have the power to forgive."Read more
Giving thanks is the expression of gratitude and gratitude is one of the most beautiful secrets in our spiritual life. Gratitude is an expression of love and love is something which flows from the Creator of the Universe through all forms of life and all forms of manifestation. Without love, life in the Universe cannot exist. Love, and therefore Gratitude is the Universal Force of preservation which holds all of creation in manifestation.
Love is as natural as the Universe. Gratitude always opens the door to more Good. Within New Thought, one of the core principles is that God is good, all Good. And therefore God is our good and our good is God. As we thank God for our Good, for all the wonderful things in our lives, developing an attitude of gratitude, our lives are filled with more good. Affirmation: "I am grateful for life and all that I love. I am grateful for my spirit and my inner being, for the One that is within."
Learn the power of gratitude! We have a prayer team that meets before service on Sunday and spends time in gratitude and holds that energy for the congregation. We encourage you to sign up for our Foundations Course and discover the power that is always there, always within and through your experimentation to prove it for yourself. Read more
"Meditation is acceptance. It is the acceptance of life within us, without us and all around us. Acceptance of life is the beginning of human satisfaction. Transformation of Life is the culmination of divine satisfaction." Sri Chinmoy
Meditation is an opportunity to calm the mind, let go of all outside distractions, while centering oneself with the Divine Presence within. It is a time to BE quiet and let Universal Intelligence talk to you.
Meditation enables us to be aware of our Divine Unity (oneness with the Divine). Meditation enables us to slow down our habitual thinking so we can begin to see patterns of creation, open our consciousness to divinely inspired inspiration and thereby to tap into the great expanse of God/Life/Love within us.
Meditation is not as hard as some people feel. But this depends on the type of meditation that we choose to practice. For some it is a practice that calls us to years of work. Like going to the gym consistently and seeing results in a few months, this is also true for meditation. You will experience more energy, peace, freedom of thought and clarity. It is said that for as vast as the outside, physical world and cosmos is . . . the inner world is even greater.
Meditation describes practices that self-regulate the body and mind, thereby affecting consciousness, spiritual connectedness via mental events by engaging a specific attentional set.... regulation of attention is the central commonality across the many divergent methods.
Even the most beautifully sounding musical instrument can fall out of tune once in a while. The same is true for our minds and our spiritual life. Whether we struggle to focus, battle with stress or get tangled up in too many thoughts, sometimes – for whatever reason – we simply fall out of tune. On one hand your mind is a finely tuned, delicate and complex instrument, while on the other hand, it doesn't come with an owner's manual.
I know there is a Power for Good which is responding to me and bringing into my experience everything that is necessary to my unfoldment, to my happiness, to my peace, to my health and to my success. I know there is a Power for Good that enables me to help others and to bless the whole world. Read more
"Visioning is a process by which we train ourselves to be able to hear, feel, see, and catch God's plan for our life or for any particular project we're working on." ~ Michael Bernard Beckwith
"Visioning brings us to God's Plan. Listening to Spirit allows us find "The Way."
We need to Know "IT IS ALREADY HAPPENING." Visioning is different from visualization because it is "catching" God's idea. We are not telling God what we want. WE are sensing into a divine idea for us that is so wonderful that it is beyond our imagination.
The Vision Process is a process of inner transformation, where we are catching the vision that's held, or already exists, in the mind of God. We have heard from time to time, scripturally, that without vision people perish. We're also aware that when we speak of a vision, we're not speaking about something in the future, we're coming to an understanding that it is in the mind of God now. As the prophet looked up and saw a new heaven and new earth, it was not something that was happening in the future, it was happening even then in the mind of God. We are here to manifest on earth what is already in God's mind.
Often times when people speak of vision or visioning they think that something is going to happen somewhere out there and they try to make it happen. The vision process isn't about making anything happen, it is about making something welcome. It's about being available to allowing that which is already happening in the mind of God to happen through and as us.
In visioning, we are volunteering ourselves as a place in consciousness that is available to allow the perfection and wholeness of the One Life to manifest.
There are 4 steps and they are:
1) What is Spirit's Highest Vision for (project, individual)?
2) What must I/we become to empower the vision?
3) What must be released for the vision to manifest?
4) What talents, gifts, capacities do I already possess to bring forth this vision?
5) What is the next step?
6) Is there any other information that we need in this moment?
We become less influenced by the popular or entrenched beliefs of a particular society or culture, and we become much more available to Spirit. We become inspired by the ideas held in the mind of God, and they begin to live and express through us. We begin to be able to articulate them and to live and embody and reveal them. The feeling we have is that we have come home. We are fulfilling our heart's desire, which is the same thing as God's will for us. God's will is for the greater expression of life, of beauty, of everything that God is.
The vision is already accomplished in the mind of God. It's already a complete idea in Spirit, so we don't need to pray for its accomplishment. What we do need to pray for is to be a willing and able vehicle or delivery system for the vision. Using the vision process is always self-examination. It's never, "God, I want this. Make this happen." It's always, "What do I have to become to live the vision, to manifest it, to reveal it?" The visioning process, then, is a process of transformation of the individual or of the group.Read more
Sacred Service is a way of helping ourselves by helping others. We serve our community and ourselves by connecting with others in a fun and meaningful way. Just as there is a diversity of people at our spiritual community, there are many ways to put our unique skills, talents, and interests to use in a way that will reveal love and celebrate life with the our community and to the world at large.
If we wish to live a deeply spiritual life, we must develop competency in the basics of living within the complexity of this physical world, and develop emotional intelligence in understanding ourselves and others.
We need to develop a mental discipline to sustain the status quo yet be open and receptive to innovation and creativity. And as we move into higher levels of conscious competency we begin to understand the far-reaching implications of our interconnectedness to all life, that we are indeed our brothers keeper's and custodians of this planet.
As wonderful as our Celebration Service is, a greater commitment to personal development is needed to evolve our own consciousness and go deeper into alignment with Creative Intelligence.
The Fellowship of Spirit provides spiritual tools that transform lives and make the world a better place! Our programs are designed to help you develop into your highest self-expression in each area of your life - health, work, finances and relationships. What we know is consciousness is evolving and developmental - that means being aware that there's always more to learn, more to do, more to become.

Law of Circulation: Giving/Sharing
Giving precipitates the Law of Circulation. Traditionally, tithing is giving 10% of your gross earnings to your spiritual source. If 10% inspires you, then go for it. However, any amount that stretches you and makes you examine and move through your beliefs around lack and limitation is the percentage with which we encourage you to begin your tithing practice.
If that is 5%, 8% or 20%, it is yours to take into prayer to know the right amount for you. Be sure to consider not only where you are giving to, but where you are giving from. One thing that is absolutely necessary: whatever the amount, it must be given with love. If a tithe is given with underlying motives of trying to get more - then you will not experience the gifts and freedom of this amazing practice.
We teach that tithing is not a practice we should do out of a sense of obligation, but something we choose to do out of a generous spirit of love and giving. We promote the message that your tithe is to be given freely and joyously to whatever feeds you spiritually. Most importantly tithing is a demonstration of faith that God is our source of abundance.
